Former Syracuse women’s lacrosse assistant takes job at Colgate

Syracuse, N.Y. — Former Syracuse women’s lacrosse assistant Abby Rehfuss has been hired as an assistant at Colgate, the school said Thursday.
The news comes a month after Rehfuss left the SU program on the heels of a successful one-year stint as the team’s offensive coordinator that saw the team reach the NCAA Division I national semifinals and produce several All-Americans.
The university said at the time of Rehfuss‘s exit she was going to pursue other jobs but declined to say more about the circumstances surrounding the departure of one of Kayla Treanor’s key staff members.
