    Description

1989 Pontiac Trans Am. Condition is "Used". Only 1,555 of these ever built.  I am the second owner of the car.  Original owner was car dealer and I am car guy so car has NEVER been abused.  Interior and exterior are in excellent condition.  The best part of this car is all of the weakest aspects of these cars has been identified and remedied with only the best. The 2004r transmission has been rebuilt by Art Carr the man himself. Not his company that he sold back in the 80's but CPT performance transmission (00 rebuild and 2800 converter). Previous owner talked to Art personally throughout the entire rebuild and dynoing of the transmission. Art has  GN himself so he knew what we wanted. Longevity and strength, but ultimately streetable manners. Car drives completely stock until you put your foot into it.  The stock turbo has been replaced with a modern ball bearing precision turbo 64/66 (,200).  No turbo lag like stock.  I also replaced factory computer that is known to run car lean and cause issues with a FAST conversion (,173).  To make car handle like a modern sports car Koni adjustable shocks all the way around, Energy suspension bushings and BMR sub frame connector and control and torque arms. Car also has a real Duttweiler intercooler. Car has electric exhaust cut out with stock exhaust so it can be mild or wild.
You will not find a cleaner 1989 turbo trans am that has been brought up to modern specs so it drives like a new car and is faster than almost anything on the street while sounding and driving completely stock.  You really can have the best of both worlds.  I have driven completely stock turbo Trans Ams (my friend has one) and all I can say is there is no comparison.
I can send any other pictures requested and you can also talk to previous owner and shop that has done all of the upkeep and modifications on the car.  No secrets here.
If you are looking for the best 1989 Turbo Trans Am in the country this is it!!!
