    Description

    Up for sale, antique Korean earthenware roof end tile depicting a dragon or kalavinka from Unified Silla Dynasty, late 8th - early 9th century (668-935). This is an amazing artifact for which you can find information on multiple museum website. There is a writing in the back "Chongnung Kwanguugun" and gallery labels.
    Provenance:
    Richard S. Ravenal’s collection. He was one of the biggest Asian antiques dealer in New York who owned “Asian Gallery” back in 60s & 70s. His collection was sold in many big auction houses such as Sotheby’s and Christie’s after his passing.
