    Description

    ANTIQUE MEDIEVAL EUROPEAN PARTISAN HALBERD 16TH CENT Solid Iron Heavy. This is a great piece!
    It is an antique Medieval Partisan or Halberd. This is a type of Pole or Staff weapon. Awesome hand chiseled design of Knights and Sea Creatures. Very Heavily Decorated!
    Size is 18 inches in length. About 9 inches across the side bills. Shaft is 1 1/2 inches wide with a 3/4" opening. Approx 1/4 inches in thickness.
    Made of solid iron and very heavy. About 4 pounds. Spear Point blade with a central medial rib running down the center. Blunt Double edge blade.
    Excellent antique condition. Complete with no damage. Some discoloration on blade. I believe this is German or Italian and is the type used between 1550 - 1650.
