    Burgundy® Semi-Sweet is a popular and very delightful semi-sweet chocolate coating that has a note of fruit and wine flavor. This chocolate coating has a reddish tint and a very thin consistency (Viscosity of approx. 115).
    Chocolate tempering instructions are provided on the block wrapper.

    Returns
    are only accepted if the product is unopened/unused and in the same packaging as sent. Once opened, you are accepting the product and may not return it. Be sure to examine your item to be sure it is what you were expecting, prior to opening it. Return shipping, as well as original shipping costs, are the responsibility of the buyer and are not refundable, unless it is our error. We list as many details as possible to ensure that you, as an online buyer, know exactly what to expect. It is important to know exactly what you are getting when you are unable to see the actual product in front of you. We do our best to post photos, list dates up front and describe items in detail. If you ever have any questions at all, please ask up front before you commit to a purchase.
    Quality issues
    with perishable/food items
    must be reported to us within 48 hours
    after tracking confirms delivery.
    Once a perishable/food item is in your possession for more than 2 days, we have no way of knowing how it was stored or what it was exposed to and will not accept returns beyond this timeframe.
    We are very focused on quality and work hard managing inventory to ensure all products are fresh and dates are posted for you to see.
    Lost/Stolen/Damaged Packages
    are our responsibility
    up until tracking shows they were delivered
    . Once tracking shows "delivered," you are responsible for making sure your item does not sit outside where it can get stolen.
    We always recommend having your item(s) held for pickup from your local post office or shipped to a PO Box to avoid any damage, theft or mis-delivery.
    If your item arrives damaged, you must notify us within 24 hours after tracking shows the item was delivered. You must also provide photos and keep all items/packaging until a claim is opened and approved and the issue is resolved.
    Perishable items
    that melt (or have other weather-related damage)
    are NOT our responsibility UNLESS you follow at least one of our recommendations. (1) If high temps. in your area are expected above 75°f, you must select the shipping option (additional charge) to have your item shipped with added protection. (2) Have your package shipped to your local post office or PO Box.
    Contact us up front if you do not know how to have your item shipped to your local PO for pickup. Having it held at your local PO is the only way you can control what happens to your package and prevents it from being exposed to the outdoor heat, elements and/or direct sunlight. This policy is in place to ensure you receive your item(s) as intended. If we notice expected high temps. and feel that we cannot ship your perishable item safely, we reserve the right to cancel your order. We thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
