    Process of Artwork:
Following traditional Japanese discipline and the strict guideline, using SK-S
    [High
Carbon steel], the blade [kitae] was forged by
    俊基
    (Jun Gi) [Japanese famed
swordsmith]. Jun Gi is an apprentice of famed swordsmith
    國正
    Kunimasa Matsuba
    of Miyazaki prefecture.
Using ancient Japanese sword-making method, Cleaning the blade to make sure it is
free of oil and impurities and then applies the special clay mixture [Yakibatsuchi: is
the polishing stone powder/ash or charcoal powder] to the blade, which makes hamon
by *Lee SeungHO.  *He is one of the best skilled handwork of sword artisan in Korea
for over 30 years of experience.
The visible undulating line on the edge was resulted from tempering the clay
Hamon and quenching during forging,  it'll never disappear even if it would polish
it again, and will be more distinct with time pass, because it was burned from
    the inner layer.
The color of the blade part may look different from the back part of the blade.
This is because we used ancient Japanese traditional abrasive technique.
The whetstone is rare and nowadays most swords do not use abrasive technique
like this. Because it’s time-consuming and more expensive, only a few highly skilled
blade-smith can use this abrasive technique.
All forms of manual techniques are the same as making old Japanese Samurai blade.
The blade material is high-carbon steel. The inner core steel is resilient
and able to absorb shocks. It reduces the possibility of breaking/ bending the blade.
The possibilities of breaking/bending the blade are depending on the sword
manufacturing technique. This traditional technique produces a sword with strong,
    sharp cutting edge.
The blade is then heated up to 720~780 degrees and is quenched in water, which
rapidly cools the edge to form martensite [the hardest type of steel] and slowly cools
the body due to its thicker clay coating and forming ferrite and pearlite [softer and
    more flexible].
Basic togi [polishing] is then performed, along with any carvings/personalizations
to the body of the blade.  Nakago [tang] is polished and the swordsmith's signature
    [
    孤松
    Lee SeungHo] carved.
The tang of the sword is secured by two pegs [mekugi].
The blade is then handed over to our togishi [polisher], who uses multiple polishing
stones to refine our Tachi sword called
    ByeolUnGeom
    別雲劍
    .
    Guard [Tsuba]
is made of the highest quality of brass plated in the traditional way.
The handle of the sword is made of fine wood and the outside is wrapped in white
genuine ray skin. On top of that, It was wrapped in a black Japanese silk [tsukaito].
The front and back of the handle were capped with sculpturing Mugunghwa (Korea
designated flowers) painting on the brass.
And two subminiature Menuki are rested on both side of the Tsuka. And two
Menuki that decorate in the sheath were fixed to each side of the handle.
In addition, this tachi sword can be completely disassembled and repaired at any time
during maintenance. We can assemble the blade from two pins outside the handle.
    Saya
    [scabbard]
is made of fine wood. The Saya has a glossy finish with a Korean-style lacquer painting in black & red.  Ade was used to decorate the saya, which adds to the artistic value of the overall apperance.
