legendary Yi Chungmugongdo
is one of three treasure swords of Chosun Dynasty. Korean Chosun dynasty sword is basically more splendid and beautiful than Japanese sword.
In US, this Yi Chungmugong Sword was introduced by ONRIE  KOMPAN, cartoonist who is Iranian-born American from Chicago, in his book called 'Yi Soonsin', which became very popular to the US people even if they haven't seen the actual Yi Chungmugong long sword.
In response to their curiosity,
Goryeo sword company is inspired
to reproduce in a real shape of Yi Chungmugongdo, the longest sword of the Admiral,
Yi Sunsin, archived in Asan Hyunchungsa. This Chungmugongdo was known as being used only as a sword to control the mind & dignity of the Admiral, Yi Sunsin.
In response to high demand and interest of Yi Chungmugong sword, Goryeo sword company is inspired to reproduce the half size of the actual Yi Chungmugongdo of the Admiral Yi Sun-sin in order for cutting performance. Also, t
he decoration of Chungmugongdo (the half-size sword) was reproduced to design in a real shape.
It may differ slightly whenever we make the specific materials & fittings of the sword.
Because each step of production was crafted by handmade.

三尺誓天 山河動色 나 一揮掃蕩 血染山河
(삼척서천 산하동색 일휘소탕 혈염산하)
석자되는 칼로 하늘에 맹세하니 산과물이 떨고,
한번 휘둘러 쓸어버리니 피가 강산을 물들인다.

and once they sweep away, the blood stains the mountain.
Process of Artwork:
Using traditional Korean/Japanese
disciplines
and the strict guidelines, the blade [kitae] was forged by Jun Gi [Japanese famed swordsmith]. Jun Gi is an apprentice of famed swordsmith Kunimasa Matsuba of Miyazaki prefecture.
Cleaning the blade to make sure it is free of oil and impurities and then applies the special clay mixture [Yakibatsuchi] to the blade, which makes hamon by [*Lee SeungHO]. *He is Korea's top sword artisan for over 30 years of experience.
[
Yakibatsuchi] is the polishing stone powder ash or charcoal powder.
The blade is then heated up to 720~780 degrees and is quenched in water, which rapidly cools the edge to form martensite [the hardest type of steel] and slowly cools the body due to its thicker clay coating and forming ferrite and pearlite [softer and more flexible].
Basic togi [polishing] is then performed, along with any carvings/personalizations to the body of the blade.  Nakago [tang] is polished and the swordsmith's signature [Lee SeungHo] carved.
The blade is then handed over to our togishi [polisher], who uses multiple polishing stones to refine our katana.
